During sophomore year, my team designed an air transport system consisting of a rocket enclosed within an aircraft to provide humanitarian aid to war afflicted regions. I wrote the sizing and staging code for the rocket based on initial mass and weight estimates. I also selected the engines for the two-staged rocket based on mission requirements and other performance constraints and parameters. My team delivered a presentation to fulfill a request for proposal and submitted a design proposal report.
