Group Leader
I have served as a four time group leader for Purdue Space Day. I had the opportunity to engage with elementary and middle school children in several STEM educational activities at local schools and on campus. My poster won the best poster award in year 2014.

OUT - Outreach, Understanding, Teamwork
I volunteered for a series of events as part of an international volunteer program at Purdue. I got the opportunity to work in small teams on local community service projects in and around Greater Lafayette Area, Indiana. Some of the activities included visiting local retirement homes, schools and walking dogs.
TEACH INDIA
Volunteer Teacher
I taught spoken English to adults in India to help them gain better employment opportunities. I hosted three two-hourly class sessions each week for roughly a year. The British Council trained me in classroom education techniques. I had the opportunity to learn so much from learners of diverse backgrounds and all walks of life.
